Home Department No. CRP 0174/XV dt. 14.2.1974.It is registered
under the Companies Act 1956 vide Registration No. 17281/1973-74.
The authorized share capital is Rs. 10.00 crores and paid up capital of 7.96 crores.
The Main objective of the Corporation is to construct houses & administrative buildings and to formulate & execute welfare schemes for personnel of Police & Jail Departments.
SPU Training Center Pune
The constuction of the Training Center of Special Protection Unit Pune was constructed and handed over on October 1st 2009. The project cost was around Rs 18.5 crores

101 police quarters including all infrastructural amenities at Sangamner Dist.- Ahmadnagar for the Superintendent of Police Ahmadnagar is constructed by Maharashtra State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Ltd. Mumbai. This work was started on 20/7/2006. This project was completed on 25/2/2008 and handed over to user department on 13/6/2008. The tendered cost was 7.12 crores.
